At midnight, we enter a new phase of our COVID journey. As we announced onMarch three, the Dublin Unified School District will follow country and county health department recommendations and move from a mandatory mask policy in our schools to a policy that strongly recommends the use of masks. As of tomorrow, indoor masking in K-12 settings will no longer be required (regardless of vaccination condition) for students, staff, or visitors at any district facility.

For some, this change will exist welcome, and for others, it comes with great concern. Nosotros ask that everyone respect the choice of those who still wish to wearable masks. Equally I stated last week, we will strive to create an environment that is kind, respectful, safety, and gratuitous of judgment.

We tin't emphasize enough that wearing masks is still "strongly recommended." The more than we practise to mitigate the risk of catching or transmitting COVID, the sooner we volition all render to normal.

I of our key defenses against COVID is access to testing. Between the PCR testing nosotros offer at our school sites and the district office, also equally the at-habitation tests provided during Winter Interruption, we have helped our community take over 43,500 tests. DUSD Aligns w/State & Local Recommendations on Mask Mandates: On March 3, 2022, the Dublin Unified School Commune announced that information technology will marshal with the recommendations of land and local health officials and lift the mask mandate at all school sites starting March 12, 2022. Your Feedback Requested - DUSD LCAP Family unit Survey Due March 31st: DUSD is in the procedure of writing and submitting an Annual Update to ourLocal Control Accountability Program and requires family feedback. Vaccination Dispensary Update: The Dublin Unified School Commune will begin its complimentary weekly vaccination/booster dispensary on Monday, March 14.
